My review of A Highland Moon Enchantment by Mary Morgan

Desmond O'Quinlan is visiting his sister, Fiona MacKay who is married to a Dragon Knight named Alastair. When Desmond and Alastair are out they discover Lady Alisa MacDuff and her bodyguard Tam who had been attacked by the English along with her father and more of their men.

Desmond, who does not believe in love, soon finds himself attracted to Alisa but there is much against them with Alisa discovering powers of her own and that she is in danger.

Will Desmond let Alisa go or realize that sometimes love is worth fighting for?

This was a good book and different than what I thought it was going to be like.

I liked the fight that Alisa had in her and it was interesting watching her discover her powers and what had been hidden from her for so many years. I could understand why her dad was trying to keep it hidden from her but it ended up causing her more harm and she was lucky to end up in a place where they were able to help her.

Desmond was awesome as you knew as soon as he was stating that he didn't believe in love that someone was going to come along and make him think twice. I also found it interesting that he did not really care for Alastair and his brothers but during the book he really got an appreciation of them and saw how they were able to come to his aid and protect Alisa and help her with what she was going through.

I loved the chemistry between Desmond and Alisa and liked how they both struggled with what the future was going to hold and whether they could deal with a relationship between them.

I was kind of expecting some sort of a twist due to one of the characters weird behavior with everyone but I was definitely not expecting what occurred.
