My review of Rock Star, Interrupted by S.M. Shade

Axton Todd is the lead singer in the up and coming band Tragic and just as his band is beginning to get the recognition they deserve his life is turned upside down when he discovers that he has a son and the mother has passed away. Now Axton must find someone to help care for Caden as he has tours coming up that he has worked so hard for and doesn't want to give up.

Naomi Wells is becoming a nanny to have some consistency in her life yet she has no idea what she is getting into when she is forced to sign a NDA before even meeting her potential employer. Yet Naomi is ready to do what it takes to take care of Caden in spite of how Axton treats her.

Soon Naomi finds herself a target of the media and as Axton and Naomi struggle with how they feel about each other will they have enough trust between them to get through it all?

OMG!!!!! I feel like I have just been on a journey that left me in a state of awe and absolute frustration that I don't have the second book in my hands now!!! I have read almost every book by this author and this one has definitely moved itself up to the top and I just can't say enough as my jaw is still on the floor.

Axton's life has turned upside down with learning about Caden and you can tell he is absolutely petrified of him at the beginning of the book and due to his own past he is scared as he doesn't feel like he had a good role model growing up. I hated how he was treating both Caden and Naomi at the beginning of the book as he was so afraid and was pushing them away. I liked when Axton finally got it and understood what his role was and that he had to be a part of Caden's life.

I thought Naomi was a great character and I loved how dedicated she was to Caden. She loved that boy and was going to help do everything in her power to make him safe and loved. I was definitely worried when she began to get the letters and I had a guess on who was behind it but now I have no idea if I was right or not but I am thinking I'm wrong!

I loved when things began to heat up between Naomi and Axton as I thought they were such a great pair who really cared about each other. I loved Naomi's friendship with Axton's sister Danielle and how close they became.

So the end was totally intense and I was freaking out and for that matter I still am!! I was glad that Naomi was ok as I thought she would be taken. Then the end of the book came and my whole world flipped upside down and I still haven't recovered!!! What kind of cliffhanger leaves me like that???

OMG - I hope the author is sitting at home finishing the next book as I need it now!!!

5 Stars
