My review of Baby Jacked by Sosie Frost

Remington Marshall has returned to town to take care of his sister, Emma's, kids, while she is fighting cancer. He is definitely in over his head and knows it's unlikely anyone in this town will help him out after all the trouble he got into in the past.

Cassia Payne grew up with 5 brothers and always had a crush on next door neighbor and bad boy, Rem Marshall. Even though he set fire to their family barn something pushes her to go over and give Rem some help with his nieces after a series of mishaps convinces her that she really has no other choice.

Rem knows he made a big mistake all those years ago but will Cassi forgive him and give him a chance to prove he has changed? Will Rem be able to deal with his own guilt over the past and allow himself a real chance at happiness?

This was such a great book!!

I really liked Rem and his cocky attitude with Cassi and you knew there was so much more going on than what Rem talked about. He obviously had so much guilt over what happened in the past and the people in the town made sure he never forgot it. He he was doing his best for his nieces but was struggling with them, which was totally understandable.

I liked Cassi and knew she had feelings for Rem but was scared that she would lose him again once Emma was ok. Yet she helped Rem out the best she could with the girls and started falling for him in the meantime.

Rem and Cassi were awesome together as they knew that there was so much chemistry between them yet there was also so much underlying history also between them.

I was totally shocked at some of the revelations and twists and turns that the book gave us. I was mad at Tidus for some things but was hurting for Rem and how he pulled away because of everything and then to see what it almost cost him.

The end was great and I look forward to more from this author!!

4.5 Stars!
