My review of Payton's Pursuit by Joanne Jaytanie

This is the second book in the Winters Sisters series and book 1, Chasing Victory, needs to be read first.

Payton Winters is the CEO of the Winters Corporation and is coming to terms with everything she has learned about her abilities. She is headed off to some dog shows but knows it is not safe for her to go alone and unfortunately for her that means she is stuck with Collin McBain whom she has some deep seated dislike for after previous events. Yet she is the only one who seems to have a calming affect on the man.

Collin McBain never knew what he was getting into when he aggreed to undergo some testing at Biotec and now his life has completed been turned upside down. When Sarah shows up and says that Emma, his half-sister, is in trouble he knows that they must help her, knowing again that they are up against Lawrence Braxton and Biotec.

As Collin and Payton deal with their new situation they find themselves working to discover the truth about work Payton's mom was doing before her death and why everyone is wanted by Biotec. Will they discover the truth before anyone else is hurt along with the other members of SOCAM and Payton's sisters?

This series is so good and very difficult to put down!! There are so many twists and turns and relations that keep surprising me and making me really wonder how everything is going to get sorted out.

I really enjoyed Payton and completely understood her mistrust of Collin after everything went on in the first book. Yet the two were able to work through everything and find a level of trust that was able to get both of them through the difficult times.

My heart was so sad for Collin and everything he had to endure in the first book and then trying to figure out how to regulate himself in book 2. I couldn't imagine anyone having to go through what he did.

There is so much mystery with Biotec and the Kaleidoscope Corporation and I can't wait to learn more. I can't wait to see who is all involved and why!

Such a great read!!
