Mercy Wright is 23 and has come into town early to surprise her fiance Jordan but she is the one left surprised when she sees him cheating on her in a bar. As she leaves she runs into a man who offers her a place to stay seeing how upset she is.
Brogan "Wrong" Daniels is a tattoo artist who is drawn to Mercy the moment he meets her. He realizes that Mercy has no idea who he really is and he loves that he can be himself around her and knows that she is not after anything.
As Mercy comes to terms with her broken engagement she also has to deal with her growing feelings towards Brogan.
Yet when Mercy learns who Brogan really is will she be able to handle everything that comes along with it or will she run once more?
This was such a great book and I loved it from start to finish.
I liked Mercy and understood why she always seemed to be running away from things instead of confronting them head on. I was glad that she stuck to her guns with Jordan when it was obvious he was cheating on her but I hated that he made her question what she saw in order to save himself.
I absolutely loved Brogan!! I loved how philosophical he was about love and how he explained soul mates. He made so much sense and I loved seeing things from his view and I felt like it opened up my own eyes. I was definitely glad about the trip to Savannah but I could tell it would also have some repercussions eventually.
I felt bad for Mercy when she learns more about Jordan and I hated that caused her to push away from Brogan more. I hated when Mercy jumped to conclusions about Jessica and everything that happened after.
I absolutely loved what Brogan did at the end of the book and now I need to find my own Brogan!!
5 Stars
