Cristian Bianco is the middle Bianco brother and a police officer. During a charity event where he is auctioned off he is won by his boss's daughter. He knows he can't bail on the date but he's not ready to beg someone who keeps blowing him off.
Vanessa Flanagan has no interest in going out with a cop, no matter how cute he is. Vanessa wants her own dreams and Cristian is definitely not part of them. Although her friends Maddie and Lauren are really encouraging her to give Cristian a chance.
When Cristian and Vanessa have a disastrous first date the two realize the two may be better as friends but their chemistry is through the roof.
But Vanessa is hiding things from Cristian and when he finds out will she lose everything?
This was such a great book filled with so many laughs and so many other good things!
I loved Cristian and was really waiting for his book. I loved his relationship with his brothers from the first book and was eager for this one. He is a great guy and I loved how he he realized that the first date needed to end.
Vanessa was an interesting character as she was so opposed to going on a date with Cristian and although she enjoyed spending some time with him she also seemed kind of reluctant to do it again. I thought it was funny that she really didn't want him to train her for her run but did so because that is what her dad wanted.
I definitely wasn't expecting the little twist involving Vanessa. I was happy with what Cristian did but to a certain extent I knew why Vanessa was so mad as she wanted to handle everything herself. I completely knew and understood why Cristian had to do what he did.
The end was great when Vanessa realizes everything and goes after everything like she should!!
The very end was OMG for the next book!!
