Easter Dinner!

For our Easter Dinner we had a collaborative effort  between all three of us and we each contributed recipes and ideas to make our dinner a success!

We decided together that we were going to have have ham as we all prefer it over turkey! We found a recipe to cook it in the slow cooker as we had lacrosse evaluations for one and a lacrosse practice for the other!

Bren picked out the appetizer and went with mozzarella sticks - one of his favorites. So Bren made these pretty much by himself but I cooked them in the oil. That being said they were far from perfect and I think we overcooked them a little and some had more bread crumbs than others. That being said they were still so good and Bren loved how easy they were to make.

So we went with the ham and I also made a Smashed Potatoes that I thought sounded awesome as they had Boursin Cheese in them! That is one of my favorite cheeses and I looked forward to having them in the potatoes! We also made a Greek salad and cooked up some pre-made Yorkshire puddings.

For dessert Mik made Easter No-Bake Mini Cheesecakes. She did such a great job and made it with a little help from her brother but mainly by herself. The only thing we had to change for the dessert was that we don't have the International Delight Sweet Cream at the store we shop at so we used French Vanilla instead. So I don't know if it was because of the wrong cream but all three of us thought it tasted like frozen yoplait tubes.
