My review of Paladine by Kenneth Eade

Robert Garcia was a special teams assassin until he retired and became an assassin for hire. When he is approached by Bryce Williamson who has created the John Williamson Foundation to Fight Terrorism he doesn't realize how much his life is going to be turned upside down.

Bryce's son John was killed in a terrorist attack and now he wants these terrorists that are residing within the US to be killed and gives Robert that job. Unfortunately for Robert not everyone is as pleased with the "Paladine" ghost that is killing these terrorists.

Will Robert be able to go undetected or will the detectives investigating these murders get their man?

This was a super interesting read and I loved all the conflicted thoughts on Paladine. While no one likes the law being taken into an individuals hands it is tough not be happy when the people being killed have killed many innocent people.

I loved how Robert himself had issues on attachment and part of him really wanted a "normal" life yet his job didn't allow that at all. It was interesting to watch how Robert did all his surveillance and learned so much about who he was going after next.

I understood the frustration of Det. Joshua Maynard as he was putting so much effort into the case with trying to solve it and he couldn't understand why more people weren't helping him.

This was a great and interesting read and I look forward to more in the future by this author!
