My review of Sweet Captivity by Julia Sykes

Samantha Browning is a member of the FBI, even if it is just on the techy side of things but when she is grabbed by drug lord Cristian Moreno she knows she is in trouble. But Samantha is a gift from Cristian to his brother, Andres who wants to break Samantha so she knows he belongs to her.

Samantha holds onto hope that her best friend and the man she is in love with, Dex, will rescue her from where she is. But as scared as she is, she soon realizes how much Andres wants to protect her from Cristian.

Will Samantha see a different side of Andres, one that begins to show her heart how many different forms love can come in? When Andres takes another step to protect Samantha what will she do?

I really enjoyed this book and found right from the beginning you were drawn in and the author never let up.

My heart just broke for Samantha knowing how innocent she was and that she was saving herself for Dex, or so it seemed. She was not prepared at all for Andres and the BDSM that came along with him. He was so jealous over her feelings and I couldn't imagine how much anguish she was in. Yet he gradually broke down her walls and showed her a different way to love.

Andres was such an interesting character as we gradually learn how far he went to protect Samantha. There was so many bad things happening with his brother and he did what he could to keep her out of it. He loved her but it began in such a twisted away.

I wasn't surprised at what he did at the end for Samantha knowing he was protecting her and then when she turned around and did her thing that didn't surprise me either. The ending was awesome and I can't wait for the next book by this author!!
