My review of Mr. So Wrong by R.C. Stephens

Albert Walsh III was the Chief of Staff for the Governor of Illinois, Colton Mathis, but when Colton retires he is now lost on what he wants to do with his life. He decides to head to his sister's place for the Christmas holidays but when he crashes his car, he has no idea if he will even it make it that far.

Samantha Belmont lives with her dad on the family ranch. When she comes upon a car stuck in a snow storm she rescues the occupant and brings him to her house.

Both Al and Samantha have ghosts in their pasts that make them reluctant to enter into any relationship but will their friendship gradually turn into more? When secrets are revealed will they both lose everything?

This was a great follow up to Mr. All Wrong and I loved focusing on Al as you could tell that he was almost lost in life yet you had no idea why.

Al was a great character as he had so much hurt inside him but you never knew what he was hiding until you gradually learned about his past and understood why he was the way he was. I loved how he contributed on the ranch and was able to surprise both Sam and her dad with what he was able to accomplish.

Samantha was definitely an interesting character as there were definitely some surprises revealed about her through the book that I was not expecting. You could tell there was a lot of hurt inside Samantha and that she never followed her own dreams. I was shocked that she continued to hook up with Blake but I think deep down Samantha never thought very high of herself.

I liked how Al and Samantha started off as friends and gradually worked their way to more even though the two of them shared a bed but nothing happened between them. The two shared so many of their secrets and they just seemed to have such an openness between them. Gradually more happened but it was based on knowing Al was leaving.

There were definitely some tense moments and I felt bad for Al as he put his heart out and it didn't look good for him. I was worried about Sam for sure but it seemed to be a wake up call for her!

The end was great and I look forward to more from the author!!
