Autumn Sullivan is the office manager for SAFE Security and in a relationship with David Eastridge, one of the owners.
When everyone is out on their own cases Autumn takes on a case for Chloe Dixon that soon puts everyone in danger and that results in Autumn losing her job and maybe even her relationship.
As Autumn struggles to figure out where she belongs she finds herself in more trouble along with her sister, Jessica, and she hopes that David still loves her enough to realize she needs help.
I enjoyed this book but really felt like I was missing so much. This is the first time I have read this author and as I was reading I was super surprised to learn that this is book one in a series as it felt like this story belongs with another one but no information was given on that. Given that my review is probably lower as I just felt a little lost at times not knowing what previously occurred.
Autumn is an interesting character as it seems like she is totally trying to find her place after her life has apparently changed so much. We learn that she was kidnapped as a child and has been recently reunited with her birth parents but Autumn is confused with who she is and who she needs to be with everyone. She needs to feel like she is contributing which is why she takes on the case from Chloe.
David is Autumn's boyfriend and one of her bosses. They have a BDSM relationship but Autumn seems to be challenging David through this book and there isn't any sex until the end of the book where you get a peek at how their relationship really works. David is trying to be supportive of Autumn but he really doesn't fully understand why she is struggling with who she is.
The ending was super interested and I was so surprised when everything was revealed about what Chloe was doing and why. It just seemed far fetched with everything that occurred at the building after they discuss everything with Brick.
The ending was good and I liked the characters in the book but I just felt lost too much with the background story.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for taking the time to review Treasure Me. Re/Leased (Doms of the FBI 5) is where Autumn and David meet and their story starts. There's a little note in the beginning of Treasure Me about that, but it's easy to miss. I'm glad you were able to enjoy Treasure Me even so! Again, thanks for reading :)
