My review of Secret Sins by Kathy Kulig

Emma Fallon is a reporter on a mission to get the best story possible but when she is set to learn more about BDSM clubs, specifically Dark Odyssey, she knows she needs to do it or lose the possibility of a job recommendation. She works for the tabloid magazine Scandal but writes under a pen name. She is invited into the club by her friends who aren't aware of her job as a tabloid writer but as someone who works with animals at a local shelter.

Adrian Cayne is a doctor who has taken a break from Dark Odyssey but is back and is ready to be a DOM again. He is instantly attracted to Emma but refuses to take on a newbie after some drama with the last one he had.

But when Emma begins to look for another Dom, will Adrian let her? Will Adrian get suspicious with all the questions Emma asks of him?

When Emma faces some difficulties writing the article will she be willing to let go of her dreams? When secrets are revealed who will take the fall?

This was an interesting read! I liked that it was looking at the BDSM from a different angle than is usually done and although Emma has her reasons for getting in their in the first place she really wants to understand everything about them.

Adrian was an interesting character as he had a bad experience in the past with a newbie yet couldn't stay away from Emma. His reputation was extremely important to him and he liked the secretive nature of the club. I understand why he blew up at Emma so fast as he felt so betrayed! I found the end interesting with what Bill & Geneva Ellsworth did for Adrian.

This was the first time I have read this author and I will read her again.
