My review of Cursed by K.K. Allen

Katrina Summer always knew she was different but now things are happening and she doesn't know how to control them. When the unimaginable happens Katrina heads to Florida to be with her grandma, Rose.

Yet in Apollo Beach nothing is as it seems and Katrina seems to be making enemies everywhere she goes, except for with the next door neighbor, Alec Stone.

As Katrina and Alec begin to form a friendship, other people are jealous and will Katrina be able to face everything she is up against when everything is an unknown?

I was super excited to read this book as it is completely different from anything the author has written before but one chapter in and I was totally hooked!

I love Katrina as she has not had an easy go at all but somehow kept going. She seemed to make enemies wherever she went like Iris and Johnny and there really seemed to be no reason for it. There was so much more to Katrina and we gradually got to see more of it with Rose and Charlotte's help.

I was intrigued by Katrina's family history that Rose explained to her and I am positive in the next book we will learn even more about Erebus and his equinox followers. There are a few people I am wondering about so far in the book and I will see if I am right.

I like Alec but I haven't decided if he is good or not. I really like how he treats Katrina but I am scared to trust the other with the other book title names!!

The 4th of July party was a huge OMG moment!! Katrina's jealousy got the better of her but I was proud of her for trying to fix it but the stuff at the end was jaw dropping and I am seriously freaking out a little!

I'm worried about a key piece being gone and will be freaking out until the next book!!!

5 Stars
