My review of Remember Arizona by Rebecca Sharp

Tally Kerr is an art curator who has just caught her boyfriend cheating on her right before her big show back in her hometown of Bisbee, Arizona. Now she has decided that she is going to beg her former best friend and the guy she was once in love with to be her fake boyfriend.

Sam Deschenes knows he is to blame for his friendship with Tally falling apart and he'd do anything to repair it, even if it means pretending to be her boyfriend.

Will Tally give Sam a chance to explain what happened in the past or will she bolt back to New York the moment she has the chance?

This was such a good book about second chances and finally coming to terms with the past.

I thought Tally was a great character who needed to prove to Carlos that she was over him fast and believed that Sam owed her from the past and would be a great one for the job. The only fault I saw with Tally was that she never took the time to really listen to those around her, especially Sam. She never gave Sam a turn to talk and therefore never put the events of the past to rest until almost the end of the book. I hated what Carlos did to her but it was apparent pretty fast that she was never really in love with him.

Sam was an awesome character as he was so loyal to Tally and just patiently waited for her to give him a chance to tell her his side of the story to the events of the past. You could tell how much he truly cared about her and was extremely protective over her.

There was so much long standing chemistry between Tally and Sam and there would be moments that it would come through and then Tally would back away. Yet I knew as soon as the events of the past came out they would be able to move on.

I absolutely adored Mee-Maw and Nico!! I truly hope Nico gets his own book as with his flair it would be such a great book!

My heart broke a little for Sam when he opened up about what had happened and why all of the plans changed.  He kept that side of his life so hidden as he never wanted anyone to know how bad it was.

I did my happy dance when Tally finally listened to Sam and things went the way I wanted them to!!

Such a great book and I look forward to more from this author!!
