Brett Daniels has never gotten over his first love Tristan May and dedicates a song to her on the radio much to the shock of every ex-girlfriend he has had since then.
When Tristan and her best friend Cynthia Munn head to Lilac Ridge after hearing the dedication and Tristan is ready to see if the spark is still there between the two after so many years after passed.
As Brett really wants to see if things can work out between the two Tristan is more of a free spirit and not ready to settle down in one place. Will the ghosts of Tristan's past allow her to move onto a future with Brett or is she not really ready to let go of her past mistakes and regrets.
I enjoyed this book and the free spirit of Tristan. I must admit that I really liked Brett and how he knew what he wanted and went after it. He had so many doubters and I was glad that he was able to prove everyone wrong. Yet Tristan was still so mysterious and she allowed her job to give her an excuse not to move on from the past or allow herself to get close to anyone.
I loved both Cynthia and Courtney, Brett's sister, as they provided a lot of humor and great situations!
Great read!
