I watch her from afar wondering if she could ever love a monster.
I’ve spent years watching Adrianna King, waiting for the day I’m supposed to take her life but something has changed. Somehow, I’ve fallen for the soul I have to kill.
For years Adrianna has been experiencing nightmares that have her facing terrifying monsters leaving her shaken and traumatized but one night her nightmares turn to a dream and she meets a smart mouth, handsome stranger that likes to tell her what to do.
Unable to forget him she closes her eyes seeking answers to her questions and the reason the monsters want her dead. Dane Black is like no one she’s ever met before and while wrestling with her feelings, Adrianna has to fight not only for her life but for his as well.
Three brothers.
One girl.

Is your soul safe?
“Hey, there she is,” that deep sexy voice says.
“What?”
“Oh, here we go again,” he sounds frustrated. “Will you just open your eyes?”
“Don’t snap at me and my eyes are open, idiot,” I snap back.
“Oh really,” he laughs. “Because from where I’m standing your eyes are closed,” he snorts rudely.
“They’re not closed, I can see gray all around me,” I huff in annoyance.
“Yeah, like I said, your damn eyes are closed,” he sighs.
Who the hell is this guy and why am I arguing with him when I can’t see him?
“Okay, let’s try this,” he suddenly sounds close, making me startle. “Close your eyes,” he begins.
“Oh my god,” I groan. “My eyes…”
“Yeah, yeah, they're closed, I heard you the first time. Now close them,” he says again.
Fine, ‘closing’ my eyes I wait impatiently for him. I can feel the air shift around me causing me to tilt my head to the right.
“So you can feel me, huh,” he says into my ear.
“Jesus,” I yell. He laughs from right beside me, and somehow I can feel his breath on my face. “How…” I ask reaching out with my hand. The air feels cool, but the small shift allows me to know where he is. “Who are you?” I whisper.
“Oh, now you’re interested,” he asks smartly.
“You’re kind of a dick,” I reply still feeling the air around me shift.
“So I’ve been told,” he says softly, as my hand lands on something solid.
“How is this happening,” I breathe. My hand slides upward, feeling soft material.
“I wouldn’t go any higher if I were you,” he whispers with a laugh.
Snatching my hand back I feel my temper rising. How can I feel someone in my dream? I don’t understand.
“Are you gonna open your eyes anytime soon,” he sighs heavily.
“You sound like a petulant child sighing all the time,” I grumble.
“So would you if you were waiting for you to show up, and you won’t even open your eyes to see me, you really know how to wound a man.”
Oh, my god who is this clown, reaching out tentatively, my hand connects with another warm solid body part.
“Tell me how I can feel you?”
“Once you open your eyes I will, Adrianna,” he says quietly.
Taking a deep breath, I begin to open my eyes expecting to see gray again except this time I see a park with buildings surrounding it. People are walking around laughing or on their phones. “How?” I don’t understand how this is happening. My hand, oh god, my hand is touching someone. Turning to my right slowly, I’m met with a pair chocolate brown eyes and a dimpled grin.
“Surprise,” he says.
Snatching my hand off his shoulder, I stare at this guy. My eyes devour his tanned face and black hair. His eyes are full of laughter matching the giant smirk on his handsome face.
“I don’t…”
