My review of Contingency Plan by Marie James

Flynn Coleman is an ex-FBI agent who is now working for Blackbridge Security. When he gets his latest assignment he is extremely unhappy to be babysitting the daughter of two Hollywood stars.

Remington Blair is 20 years old and has become a professional at losing her security detail. She feels like she is imprisoned by her parents and has no idea what she wants to do with her own life.

Flynn has no idea what to expect with Remington but he doesn't expect her boldness and her goal to get him fired from his job. Yet soon Flynn sees another side to Remington and he must control his own emotions or risk crossing a boundary he has never crossed before.

This is another awesome book in the series and I loved it from start to finish!

I love Flynn has he has such a professional demeanor yet inside he is such a softie. I loved how he really understood everything that was going on in a deeper way and was able to see another side of Remington that she never let many people see.

My heart broke for Remington as there was the one side of her that would do anything to tempt her security in any way possible yet at the same time she was a daughter that was desperate for love and attention from her parents. I hated how her parents spent no real time with her and felt like they gave her everything she could possibly want.

There was an attraction right from the moment that Flynn and Remington met but there was a lot at stake and Flynn knew he couldn't cross the line. Yet when both got sick they each saw another side to the other and it made things a lot more tricky.

I wasn't surprised by what happened after Remington's birthday and I was shocked at what Remington's mom said to her. I could see how it just pushed Remington into being someone that she really wasn't and it made me sad for her.

I was so proud of Remington for what she decided to do next yet I was definitely worried for her. I was happy with her actions and then it made me mad how she lost it all. I was so happy that Flynn got his act together and was able to make everything up to Remington!

The end was awesome and I can't wait to see what comes next with Ignacia.

5 Stars
