I find life extremely busy most of the times with sports and our heating habits lately have been awful with everything that is going on around us. As you may remember I did no sugar a couple of years ago and it worked fine for me but I was struggling with how to incorporate it realistically with the kids, specifically my son.
Currently both kids are playing both hockey and field lacrosse so there are times when we need to grab something on the go and in Canada we just don't have the same options for food as the US does for suagr free.
Quite a few years ago my step-sister game to me with a diet called "Game On" and it is all about eating healthy with small meals but you throw in a cheat meal and a cheat day every week. I knew that was something that we could do realistically as Bren knows every week he gets to cheat.
Now I had to find healthy meals that adhered to the rules and this one fit in perfectly and then we had lots of leftovers until I made the next "big" meal. Both kids really enjoyed the chicken which was awesome!
Super easy to make and the kids were very happy!!
