My review of Moth by Lana Sky

Hannah Dewitt is finally living on her own after needing to leave her hometown but she is still under the watchful eye of her brother Branden and his partner, Liam. When Hannah gets a job at a bookstore working for Mr. Zhang she has no idea how much her life is about to change.

Rafe Wei-Shen works for his uncle and also runs a tattoo shop. Yet there is also something else going on with Rafe and Hannah knows the business he does for his uncle his not on the up and up when he shows up at the bookstore.

There is chemistry between Hannah and Rafe yet she is hesitant to get involved with someone who is on the wrong side of the law but she can't stay away. Yet soon she also realizes that he isn't the only danger to her and maybe Rafe can be the one to save her from the unknown.

This was such a great book with lots of mystery and twists.

I loved Hannah and knew that there were some huge ghosts in her past that she was running from but you never quite knew who was all involved until quite far in the book and you begin to put certain pieces of the puzzle together. Hannah was both naive and smart at the same time but I really don't think she knew how far certain characters would go to control her and make sure thst she remained true to them.

It was obvious that Rafe was trying to prove that he was the right man to his uncle but there was something about Hannah that drew him in. Rafe knew how to be strong and tough but with Hannah we got a little bit more of a vulnerable side as he wants to protect Hannah from everyone but himself.

There were quite a few things that Branden did that really made me wonder what went on between him and Hannah in the past. I have my guesses but I'll have to wait until the next books to see if I am right. I couldn't believe how far he went with certain things and I definitely was creeped out. Yet I kept thinking that he is Hannah's brother so part of him has to be good.

The end of the book left me with more questions and I can't wait to see what happens to next!!
