My review of Unholy Union by Natasha Knight

Cristina Valentina was 10 years old the night her father died and she first met Damian DiSanto. Now 8 years later he has come back for what now belongs to him - her.

Damian knows that Cristina is a piece of the puzzle that entwines their lives but he has slowly rebuilt his family's empire and is now ready to rule it all.

But will Cristina do what she is supposed to do or will she fight him on everything and will she realize that Damian is not the one she needs to be fearful of?

This was such a great beginning filled with lots of intrigue over past events that brought the two families together yet there is still so much missing!

Cristina is an innocent victim in events that she had no control over but that drastically altered her life. She lost so much that night and then to discover the deal her dad had made before he died was absolutely heartbreaking. I hated that she was such a pawn but I loved her spirit and defiance.

Damian was a very interesting character as it was obvious how dark and powerful he was yet he still never measured up to what his father wanted and he was second place to his older by minutes twin brother Lucas who had disappeared. Damian hated his father and yet he rebuilt the families company and did what was expected of him. It was obvious that he did care about Cristina but had to be careful as he didn't want that weakness exploited.

I really liked learning about the two families and how much Cristina had to learn about things that had happened that she knew nothing about. Cristina was hated by many people that she wasn't even aware of because of her family's foundation.

The end was definitely jaw-dropping and I am eager to discover what happens next!!
