My review of Adoring Keaton by Siobhan Davis

Keaton Kennedy is one of the Kennedy triplets and is attending Berkley much to his family’s dismay. He is dating a girl named Melissa as that is what is expected of him by his family. Yet there is nothing Keaton wants to do than live his own life and be free to love who he chooses.

Austen Hayes is a star football player who is comfortable with himself but that doesn’t mean he is ready for his personal life to be broadcasted all over. He has goals of reaching the NFL and isn’t too sure if being outed by others will hurt any chance he has of making it big.

When Keaton and Austen move in together they know that they have chemistry but is either willing to risk a chance at “love” over their futures?

This was a great book at finding your own happiness and deciding if love is worth the fight that you may be up against.

I really liked Austen and admired that he knew who he was but that didn’t mean he was completely confident in blasting his sexuality for everyone to see. I loved his friendship with Colton, his teammate, who was always there for him.

Keaton was also a great character who was much more nervous about people finding out about the real him as he had kept it hidden from his family and his girlfriend, Melissa. Keaton came from a famous family and he wanted to stay far away from the press and keep his life as private as he could.

There was so much chemistry between Keaton and Austen and you knew that things would heat up fast but there was also so much at stake for both of them. One of the biggest things that went against them were secrets and I understood why Keaton wanted to keep things hidden but he couldn’t be in a relationship with Austen and keep so much hidden.

The blow out from Keaton telling the truth was huge in a certain sense in that it somewhat divided his family. I wasn’t expecting some of the things that happened after and I think there is definitely more to come with Kent and why he reacted the way he did.

My heart broke a little for Austen with him not having control over certain things with regards to his teammates after other things came out with respect to Keaton. I was so mad at Keaton for reacting like he did and driving Austen away.

I was so mad at Keaton for how long it took him to get his act together but I was happy that he finally did!!! The end was great and looking forward to more!
