One of my friends has had the opportunity to move with her husband to a new town so we threw her a good-bye potluck dinner. I have worked with her for the past 13 years so she is someone I am very close to and will definitely miss her when she is gone.
I gave her the choice of what she wanted me to make for her party but I narrowed it down to 5 bars/brownies and all the recipes included booze of some sort! These were the ones she chose and I was excited to give them a try!
I followed the recipe as it was and I think these were super easy to make and I will definitely be making something like this again but throwing a non-alcoholic version as the kids really wanted them!
The only warning I would give is that they are really chewy from the caramel and if you had extra time it would be easy enough to cut the caramel in half.
