A great evil waits for me…
And it won’t stop until it swallows
me whole.
I’ve been ripped from Dark Castle, thrown back into the mortal world
where I don’t belong.
Here, they think I’m crazy. They’ve locked me up and forced pills down my
throat, telling me I’ve lost my mind.
And maybe I have…
I’ve fallen for three monsters after all.
Prince Airic, Knight Reis, and shapeshifter Wels—they are the sinister
men of my nightmares and my deepest fantasies. I can still feel their touches,
hear their voices in my head, but they’re in danger.
I have to get back to them because if the shadows close in, I can lose
everything.
The kingdom.
My monsters.
And ultimately, myself.
Necessary Evil is book 2 in the Kingdom of Monsters series. It's a full
length fantasy monster romance with some darker themes, lots of steam, and is a
story where the heroine will end up with more than one love interest.
Harper A. Brooks lives in a small town on the New Jersey shore. Even though classic authors have always filled her bookshelves, she finds her writing muse drawn to the dark, magical, and romantic. But when she isn't creating entire worlds with sexy shifters or legendary love stories, you can find her either with a good cup of coffee in hand or at home snuggling with her furry, four-legged son, Sammy.
She writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

NY Style Push Cart Hot Dog Onion Sauce
Mik and I haven't had hot dogs in quite some time so I thought I would make these for one of our Friday nights. Unfortunately I ended up having to work late so Mik made the sauce on her own and then proceeded to get mad at me later about having to cut the onions up which made her cry.
This is a super easy recipe but gives the Hot Dogs a different twist to the usual. I thought that the onion mixture was good and you need to make sure that you have good buns. I think next time I would use more of a standard basic bun as the ones we had were just a bit too much for the hot dogs.

BAKED HAM SANDWICHES WITH BROWN SUGAR GLAZE
This is a great recipe to use up any of the ham you have from the holidays that have happened or are coming up.
The recipe is simple but super delicious and we didn't have any leftovers that night!
Unfortunately we didn't have Hawaiian Rolls but used whole wheat instead as that was all that was at the store. These would have been awesome with the sweeter buns.
I followed the recuipe as directed except I just put the whole cheese slice onto the buns instead of putting them into quarters. I think next time I would have actually added more cheese to the sandwich!
These are so simple and I loved the sauce that went on the top of them as that gave so much extra flavor!
