This is the third book in the series and must be read in
order.
Margo Wolfe is after the truth of her past and is hoping
that it will be enough to save her dad and show Caleb Asher that their love is
enough to overcome everything.
Yet one event after another it is clear that someone is
willing to do everything they can to prevent Margo from remembering the events
of that past.
Will she remember in time?
I am both excited and devastated that these three books have
come to an end.
I loved Margo and I hated her inability to remember the events
of the past and I knew this would be the book where everything came out. I definitely
had some suspicions and I was right to a certain degree but there were
definitely some surprises that I didn’t anticipate!! I loved Margo’s friendship
with Riley through this whole series and I really she hopes she gets a happy
ending in an upcoming book.
Caleb had slowly wormed his way into my heart over the
series and I did understand why he had so much hatred towards Margo’s dad with
him in jail for killing his own dad. Caleb had been abandoned by his mom and abused
by his uncle which didn’t help his anger at all.
This book had so many revelations and although things didn’t
come together until the very end I was still making guesses at who was behind
it all.
The car accident at the beginning of the book began to set
everything in motion and make me wonder who was working for who and how many
people actually had a stake in it all. The introduction of Det. Masters was an
interesting one as he definitely had a lot of animosity towards Caleb for some
unknown reason. Then the events with Margo’s room began to make me really
wonder how many people were involved. When a certain character showed up unexpectedly
I wondered if she had a part in things as her timing was off to me the entire
series and I thought she was cruel to Margo even though they were supposed to
be so close.
The meeting in jail between Caleb, Margo and Keith revealed
so much more and that was one person who had been on my radar! Then things just
began to spiral and my mouth was on the ground until almost the end of the
book!!
This series has been so good and I have no idea what the
author has in store for us next but I can’t wait!!
