My review of Sins of the Father by Marie James

Eric "Lynch" Quintal is the new president of the Ravens Ruin MC. He follows certain rules that the club has always followed but there are certain things that he plans on doing his way. He doesn't care about the new women that enter the club but he gets first dibs at every single one that walks through the door and once he has them they are fair game.

Zoe "Candi" Clark is best friends with Molly and has always wanted to go to an MC club and sleep with a biker. When Molly is able to get them in to one, Candi enters a whole new world.

Lynch has no clue initially on who Candi is but when he puts the pieces together he isn't ready to share her quite yet or let her leave.

As Lynch deals with MC business he is at odds on what to do with Candi and Molly and how to keep them safe from his enemies. But soon revelations are made that no one is expecting.

This was a great book and this new series looks great!

I loved how naive Candi was when she got to the club and how fast she learned about certain things. Yet she also learned pretty quick how hard her heart could fall and she was not expecting that or the hurt that came from getting her heart broken. I liked that she kept trying to leave but unfortunately was stick at the compound.

I had such mixed feelings about Lynch! On one side he was pure alpha male but at the other side he was such a jerk and followed the rules that benefited him without caring who got hurt. I found it so odd that he was willing to let Ronan do what he did and I was so mad when he was contemplating going after him when everything was done.

I was not expecting certain things at all and I was definitely worried about what we learned at the mall and how that was going to go back and hurt Candi as I did believe she was innocent. As soon as TJ grabbed her to take her downstairs I knew things were about to get ugly. I was worried about Candi for sure but I was so happy that the video proved her innocent.

The end was tense for sure and then everything gets worked out until the very last moment!!
